The Pardoner- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He had hair as yellow as wax and was long. He also had BIG eyes!!

Narrator's Opinion: He is very spiritual, but he is for the bad reasons. He is all in it for the money.

My Opinion: I think that the Pardoner is a crook and that he should be ashamed of taking all the people's money and trying to act like something that he isn't

The Summoner- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: His eyes were narrow, he had black scabby eyebrows, and a thin beard. His face was on fire.. so I take it that he was red faced.

Narrator's Opinion: He was drunk but he wouldn't lie to people. He was really straight forward.

My Opinion: I think that he is a very kind guy who liked to drink and he was noble.

The Reeve- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: His beard was well kept up and his hair was shorn.

Narrator's Opinion: He doesn't like him because he was a tax collector.

My Opinion: I don't like him either because he strikes me as the mean/wicked type of guy.

The Manciple- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He was illiterate.

Narrator's Opinion: He thinks that his talents are from God's grace and he likes him a lot.

My Opinion: I think that he was smart even though he was illiterate. He watched the market very precisely and to me, I think that he is alert.

The Miller- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He was a stout and had red hair. He had a wart on his nose that had hairs coming out of it. His nostrils were as black as they were wide. He also wore a blue hood with a white coat.

Narrator's Opinion: He thinks that he is a bad guy and a thief.

My Opinion: I think that he is mischievious and is very ugly!

The Plowman- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He wore a tabard smock and rode a mare.

Narrator's Opinion: I think the he likes him and that he was a really nice and humble person.

My Opinion: I think that he was a good guy. He was very honest with everyone. He loved Christ and he was a very peaceful guy and never did anything wrong.

The Parson- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He was modesty dressed.

Narrator's Opinion: He thinks the the parson is a really godly/holy person and really takes a liking to him. He thinks that he is the absolute perfect preist.

My Opinion: I think that he is a great person and the he spends alot of time worshiping and living for the Lord.
 

The Wife of Bath-Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: She has big hips, her teeth have a wide gap in between them, and handsome.

Narrator's Opinion: She was EXPERIENCED!. He also seems like he is attracted to her in a way.

My Opinion: I don't like her too much and I think that she is coniving and really mischevious.

The Doctor- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He wore blood red garments that was slashed with bluish gray and lined with taffeta.

Narrator's Opinion: He thinks that the doctor a perfect practicing physician.

My Opinion: I think that he is a good doctor and that he shouldn't feel ashamed for what he had done. If you get offered different deals, you shouldn't pass up that kind of opportunity.

The Skipper- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He wore a woolen gown that reached his knee.
                                 He had a tan and he also had a beard.

Narrator's Opinion: He was a sailor and that he was a risky person.

My Opinion: I think that he was kinda rebellious and was fearless.

The Cook- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He had an ulcer on his knee.

Narrator's Opinion: I think that the narrator feels sorry for him because of his ulcer and he knows that it is easy to catch infections back in those times.

My Opinion: I think that the cook is a wonderful cook and had an intense passion for cooking.

The 5 Tradesmen- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: They were trim and their gear was practically brand new. Their knives were wrought with purest silver and they are put on their girdles and on pouches. They were well dressed and they were well kept up.

Narrator's Opinion: He doesn't like them and that they are snooty.

My Opinion: I like them because they are really clean dressed and that they had the top of the line equipment and apparel

The Franklin- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He had a white beard.

Narrator's Opinion: He is very rich and he would allow anyone to come into his house to drink and eat. He was very kind to all of his guests and very welcoming.

My Opinion: I think that he was very rich and liked to party. I also think that he kinda lives life with no regrets and he is a successful person.

A Sergeant at the Law- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He wore a homely parti-colored coat, girt with a silken elt or pin stripe stuff.

Narrator's Opinion: He wasn't very  interactive with his work, but he was good at what he did.

My Opinion: I think that he was a good lawyer, but I feel as if he was more in it for the money then actually helping the people with their situations.

Oxford Cleric- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He wasn't too fat, he had a hollow look, a sober stare, and he wore a coat.

Narrator's Opinion: He read books and was smart; the narrator thinks he will gladly learn and teach.

My Opinion: I think that he is a very smart guy, but he is also very shy and unsocial.

Merchant- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: The Merchant has a beard, motley dressed, wears a beaver hat, and had buckled boots on.

Narrator's Opinion: The author didn't know the merchant's name and thought he was an excellent person. He also said that the merchant was poor.

My Opinion: I feel as if the merchant was a little sneaky because no one knew his name or that he was kinda like a homeless man and he just would sell anything that he got his hands on to get out of debt.

Friar- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He was dressed simliar to the monk except he wore a rope as a belt. His neck was whiter than a lily flower, he begged people, and he was a ladies man

Narrator's Opinion: I think the narrator feels sorry for him in a sarcastic way. That he thinks that he is a crook and just using his ways for money.

My Opinion: The Friar sorta reminds me of a scam artist that just persuades people to pay them for something that isn't neccessary to be paying for.

Monk- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: He was a fat man that hunted and rode a horse. His sleeves were garnished at the hand and had grey fur. He was bald and it shone like looking-glass. He was also very pale.

Narrator's Opinion: I think he agrees with the monk's views. He doesnt think he has to be succluded from the world.

My Opinion: I think that the monk doesn't have to be succluded from the world as well.
