Merchant- Canterbury Tales

Physical Appearance: The Merchant has a beard, motley dressed, wears a beaver hat, and had buckled boots on.

Narrator's Opinion: The author didn't know the merchant's name and thought he was an excellent person. He also said that the merchant was poor.

My Opinion: I feel as if the merchant was a little sneaky because no one knew his name or that he was kinda like a homeless man and he just would sell anything that he got his hands on to get out of debt.
